Stonehenge is an AMAZING site to see while you’re in the UK! Don’t miss out on seeing one of the great wonders of our incredible world! Follow this quick guide so you can get the most out of your Stonehenge experience! The second part of the trip is to see the wonderful city of Bath. Bath, the city once home to the Romans, is full of history, beautiful architecture, and loads of shops! Don’t forget to check out the legendary Roman Bath Houses!
The most cost efficient way to get to Stonehenge would be to use the National Rail from Waterloo. From there, you will take the train for a few hours until you get to Salisbury where you will take a taxi or a local bus to get to the site! However, I strongly recommend going through a travel company so you have rides accommodated for you and you won’t have to worry about getting lost on the journey to Stonehenge and Bath!
Book your tickets well in advance if you want to get a chance to get up close with the amazing Stonehenge! You don’t need tickets to go to Bath, it’s just an added bonus because it’s only about 45 minutes away from Stonehenge.
It’s not a very quick ride to Stonehenge & Bath so I recommend to bring some friends and head west out of London! The landscape of England is full of things to play “I Spy” with and the drive is just long enough for you to get some shuteye! Even though the drive isn’t very short, it’s still totally worth your time!!
