Somewhere New for “a new job of mining or poetry writing”
Wales, the Land of the Red Dragon, rolling green hills, and sheep! Start your tour by taking in the wonder of the Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre, a 2000 year old ruin that was also King Arthur’s round table. From there we go to Cardiff for lunch before heading to Caerphilly Castle. Take a scenic drive to the Big Pit Mining Museum. Don your helmet and flashlight and descend into the darkness and see for yourself what it was like to work underground, sometimes from as young as 6! Finally, take a tour of the breathtaking Tintern Abbey in the picturesque Wye Valley. Wander around the beautifully atmospheric 13th century romantic ruin that inspired poet William Wordsworth and the painter J.M.W Turner. Pure poetry!
